Recently retired Los Angeles Dodger Miguel Rojas already has his next gig lined up.
On Thursday, MLB Español announced that the two-time World Series champion will be joining its broadcast team and serving as a correspondent for the 2026 Fall Classic.
Rojas, 37, logged his final Major League Baseball minutes just a few weeks ago in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series between the Dodgers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Rojas started Game 4 and got a little run on defense, but was eventually replaced by Max Muncy at third base in an attempt to capitalize on a potential pitching advantage.

It was an unceremonious end to the career of the do-it-all utility man who delivered one of the most unforgettable World Series moments in baseball history. But Rojas, who had announced prior to the start of the season that 2026 would be his last, had no hard feelings about how it came to an end.
“This is it, guys,” Rojas said to his teammates in the Dodgers clubhouse after being swept by the Brewers. “I’m going to move on and go to the next step of my life, in my career, and the baseball world. Today was the last time that I wore that uniform as a player and my cleats. It’s really hard to take them off right now.”
His teammates all chimed in to sing his praises. Freddie Freeman said he “built a legacy” that will be remembered for a long time. Mookie Betts described him as a father figure, and said it’s hard to quantify what impact he’s had on him personally and for the team as a whole.
“He’s our leader. Our vocal guy. He gets on the mic, makes sure we’re playing the game hard, holds everybody accountable,” Betts said. “Not having him in a Dodgers uniform would be something completely different for all of us.”

While Rojas has previously voiced interest in assuming a front office role with the Dodgers, and some analysts and fans have identified him as the heir apparent to manager Dave Roberts, Rojas’ first post-playing job will be where he made himself a Los Angeles legend and a SportsCenter Top 10 star: the World Series.
This time sans cleats.
“Miggy Ro will enter the territory of MLB Español!,” the translated post from MLB Español reads. “Miguel Rojas will be our official correspondent during the #WorldSeries.”

Miguel Rojas has a few games left in him
While his Major League Baseball days are done, Rojas has already made plans to suit up one final time for his beloved home team from Venezuela.
On Nov. 14-15 in Miami, Miguel Rojas will suit up once more for Tiburones de La Guaira of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League. His team will take on Navegantes del Magallanes in the Choque de Gigantes (Clash of Giants) series.
After that, his playing days will be done-done. Maybe.

He proved throughout the 2026 season that his glove is still quality. He proved his worth as a situational hitter. As Betts mentioned, he was the locker room leader.
If Miggy Ro decides to reverse course and continue playing, it would be hard for the Dodgers to turn him away.
As a beloved figure in the locker room, a favorite of the manager, and a Los Angeles sports legend—whatever Rojas decides to do next, he will undoubtedly get support from the organization and the fans who watched him help build the Dodgers Dynasty with his unmatched heart and hustle.
Until then, assume he’ll put just as much energy and effort into his next endeavor as he did for 13 seasons in the Bigs.
