Hours before opening pitch of the National League Division Series, the defending World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers have announced which players will be available to square off against the Atlanta Braves throughout the series.
Many of the names on the NLDS roster are unsurprising, including Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Tarik Skubal and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The Dodgers truly have a wealth of talent to potentially trot out in the NLDS, so, naturally, some roster mainstays did not make the cut.
Notably, players like Alex Call, Dalton Rushing and 2026 MLB All Star Justin Wrobleski didn’t make the cut. Jack Dreyer, last year’s top rookie reliever, according to Baseball Digest, also missed the cut and didn’t make the NDLS roster.
But there are also some fan favorites to make the list, including South Korean megastar Hyeseong Kim, and the Dodgers No. 1 overall prospect, Josue De Paula.
